Helicopter assists in arrests, Coles Bay

About 3 pm today the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by Tasmania Police to search for a stolen car in the Coles Bay area. About 5 pm a green commodore sedan was found in bushland near Moulting Lagoon. A short time later two people, a male and female were located in bushland a short distance away. The helicopter was able to keep observation on the couple and guide local police to the area where arrests were effected.
