Constable Michael Preshaw joined the Tasmanian Police force in 1993.
During this time he has been stationed at Hobart, Sorell, Nubeena and Hobart CIB before joining Search and Rescue (SAR).
In 1998 he became a Police Diver and was part of the original crew when the rescue helicopter began in Tasmania in 2000.
Mick joined the Tasmania Police Search and Rescue Air Crew with the Westpac Rescue Helicopter in 2007 and has over 700 operational flight hours. He recently featured in the Air Rescue TV Show on Southern Cross.
Mick is married to Janita and they have 6 kids. In his spare time, Mick likes going on adventures with his family and staying active.
