Richard is a Private Client Adviser with over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, working for Ord Minnett in Hobart. Richard worked at Shadforth Financial Group for over 19 years, starting out as a para-planner to become a senior Private Client Adviser, and then joined Ord Minnett as part of a team establishing a new office in Hobart.

Richard completed a Bachelor of Commerce at UTAS and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a Master of the Stockbrokers Association of Australia (MSAA).

A Past Commodore of the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania (RYCT) and Past Chair of the Regional Advisory Committee representing Yacht Clubs in Tasmania. He is a member of the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania, Bellerive Yacht Club and Cricket Tasmania and is also currently on the Advisory Board of the St John’s School at Richmond and a Past President of The Friends’ School Old Scholars Association.
